Do you know that we have up to nine species of civets recorded in Singapore? The Common Palm Civet is the most common species and is one of our last wild native urban carnivores. It can be found in both forested and urban areas.

Join Weiting as she transports you to the world of this nocturnal masked fruit bandit. She will share tales of its secretive lifestyle and the perils of living alongside humans. This talk is a prelude to an upcoming project promoting harmonious co-existence between civets and humans.
