29 Jan (Sun): Bird and Butterfly Ecology Walk at Dairy Farm Trail

The Dairy Farm sector of Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is not only known for its historical value, it is also rich in forest birds and butterfly species. Commonly encountered birds here include Thick-billed Pigeon, Blue-winged Leafbird and the Abbott's Babbler. Some of the shyer forest butterflies like the Archduke, Horsfield's Baron and Malay Lacewing can also be expected here, especially along the trails. Join Anuj (Butterfly Interest Group) and Ding Li (Bird Group) as they explore this tranquil patch of woods and introduce some of its denizens, and why they are important to forest ecology. For members only.
