At Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve: maintenance work at the Mangrove Boardwalk from 10 to 21 Nov 08. The Mangrove Boardwalk is partially open to the public from 10 - 12 Nov and 17- 21 Nov and closed on 13 and 14 Nov 2008.

Photo of the Week is a special Giant clam! Tridacna maxima was spotted on Pulau Jong in this photo shared by ChimCK. It is one of the only two of these animals seen so far in Singapore. More about this animal on the Psychedelic Nature blog by "Giant Clam Girl" Mei Lin who shares that it is unfortunately "functionally extinct" in our waters.
