14 Mar (Fri): Talk on "Is Mass Tourism destroying Southeast Asia's best destinations and is Ecotourism the answer?"

Presented by NSS Member Derek Potter, who has been a student at the Southeast Asian Studies Programme at NUS for the last few years. Derek has led many tours for
NSS members in the early 2000s to Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam He has completed an M.A. and is now working on a Ph.D looking at sustainable tourism
development challenges in Southeast Asia and the role of ecotourism. In this talk, he will present some of the findings of his research and looks forward to comments and feedback on his ideas.
