Highlights of the Week

This week, there are two weekday talks about global warming at NTU and NUS by Prof Richard C. J. Somerville, Lee Kuan Yew Distinguished Visitor. Something not to be missed for those keen on learning more about Nobel Prize winning Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

During the weekend, special events include a Beach Yoga session in support of Acres. Come learn about yoga, go for a beach walk and make a difference for wild animals at the same time!

Also on next Sunday is the Eco-Picnic at Admiralty Park. A new park and a new concept with prizes to be won. A great outing for the family!

Other events for kids includes the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden Carnival. A special outing for the kids in a garden designed specially for them.

For those who love the sea, Dive Hantu with the hantu bloggers.

Active nature lovers can explore Lower Peirce Reservoir and Khatib Bongsu with the briskwalkers at the Feet to Walk events.

There's also walks at the Orchid Garden and mangrove boardwalk of Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve.

2 Dec (Sun): Chek Jawa Boardwalk tour with the Naked Hermit Crabs. Let these enthusiastic volunteers introduce you to the shore at high tide!
